Work on paper

I like the immediacy of working on paper with ink and watercolour and graphite and will often have these on the go while I'm working on larger oil paintings . It's a kind of release to just go over to my table and draw, with a eye on my sketchbook drawings  made en plein air, and a glance out of the Brindister studio window to see what the weather is doing, and then go back to the larger scale paintings.
