Friday Feb 21st
Just reached the studio. Loads of snow here and buffeting wind - I had to shovel out of the house, then shovel to collect Sarah (7 month pregnant !!! artist from Montreal) who is in downstairs flat, and then together we walk through the wind and snow and ice to the studio laughing, then shovel more when we got to there, and shovel some more to open to back door to let in some air (and snow). Don't need to go to the gym when you've got snow. This is the view from the studio door.
It's going to make sauntering up the road to the studio in Coleford, Somerset, or popping round to my studio next to the house in Brindister, Shetland, look very very tame.
The rest of the day is spent mostly in the studio - snow still falling.
